Basketball Recap: Engadine Comes Up Short

Engadine lost against Newberry back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Engadine Eagles came up short against the Newberry Indians, falling 54-34.

Engadine's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Newberry, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Coming up, Engadine will host Mid Peninsula at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newberry, they are taking a road trip to challenge Pickford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pickford will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Newberry surely won't give up without a fight.
