Volleyball Recap: Monrovia Bulldogs vs. Parke Heritage Wolves
Monrovia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Parke Heritage Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 21-25, 25-16.
Addi Jones paced Monrovia's offense, picking up 13 kills. Jones got some help from Grace Deaton and her 23 assists. Allie Kizzee controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Kendall Mckinney had an outrageously good game for Parke Heritage as she had 14 digs and six aces. Those 14 digs gave Mckinney a new career-high.
Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Parke Heritage, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.
Looking ahead, Monrovia will face off against Mooresville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parke Heritage, they will square off against Southmont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
