Volleyball Recap: Garfield-Palouse Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Garfield-Palouse waltzed into their match on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the LaCrosse/Washtucna Tigercats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Garfield-Palouse took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-6, 25-13.

Kyra Brantner paced Garfield-Palouse's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brantner got some help from Morgan Lentz and her 21 assists. Elena Flansburg controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Garfield-Palouse's victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for LaCrosse/Washtucna, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Garfield-Palouse will take on Tekoa-Rosalia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. LaCrosse/Washtucna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
