The Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors will face off against the Beachside Barracudas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Trinity Christian Academy blew Creekside out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Creekside got their revenge. The Conquerors fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Conquerors have suffered since March 4, 2025.
Trinity Christian Academy got a good showing from Brennan Bachtell Jr, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Bachtell Jr gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Beachside might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was St. Johns Country Day who claimed the real prize. The Barracudas fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 5-4. The loss put an end to the Barracudas' undefeated start to the season.
Beachside had to settle for second despite strong performances on the mound from Christian Capriglione and Austin Pankey Capriglione pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, while Pankey pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Beachside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jonathan Alvarez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
Having lost for the first time this season, Beachside fell to 2-1. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Trinity Christian Academy got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in February of 2025 against Beachside by a conclusive 9-0 score. Do the Conquerors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Barracudas turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
