Basketball Recap: Pickering's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hornbeck, Pickering was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Grand Lake Hornets by a score of 54-41. This was payback for the Red Devils, who suffered a 64-63 defeat the last time these two teams met.

With the victory, Pickering broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8. As for Grand Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pickering will take on Anacoco at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grand Lake, they will host Bolton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
