Lakeshore entered their tilt with Chelsea on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Lakeshore pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Chelsea, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Lakeshore didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against New Prairie on the 5th. As for Chelsea, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 16-0 victory against Adrian on the 5th.
