Soccer Game Preview: Lakeland vs. Post Falls

The Lakeland Hawks will take on the Post Falls Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeland's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Saturday, Lakeland didn't have quite enough to beat Moscow and fell 2-1.

The Hawks' goal came courtesy of Ethan Hunt, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, Post Falls kept a clean sheet against Lewiston on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Bengals. That's two games straight that Post Falls have won by exactly four goals.

Post Falls' victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Lakeland, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Lakeland took their win against Post Falls when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
