Preview: Lincoln-Sudbury vs. Waltham
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Lincoln-Sudbury. They will take on Waltham at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Waltham will need to watch out since Lincoln-Sudbury have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Last Friday, Lincoln-Sudbury faced Acton-Boxborough in a battle between two of the state's top teams. It was close but no cigar for Lincoln-Sudbury as they fell 35-37 to Acton-Boxborough. Lincoln-Sudbury's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Waltham secured a 6-0 W over Cambridge Rindge & Latin. The success made it back-to-back wins for Waltham.
Waltham's win lifted them to 2-2 while Lincoln-Sudbury's defeat dropped them down to 4-1. We'll find out if Waltham can add another positive mark to their record or if Lincoln-Sudbury can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Waltham's step.
