Baseball Game Preview: New York Mills Eagles vs. Pillager Huskies

The New York Mills Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Pillager Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New York Mills' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Pillager's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

New York Mills easily dispatched Sebeka on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Eagles fell just short of Parkers Prairie by a score of 9-7 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Pillager fell victim to Pierz and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 9-0. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

New York Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Pillager, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

New York Mills couldn't quite finish off Pillager in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 6-4. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
