Conway hadn't done well against Socastee recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Braves, sneaking past 2-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-3 victory back in March.

Oscar Tomas Lopez and Johnny Castro scored both of Conway's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

Conway now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Socastee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
