Coleman Borthwick put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Monday. He struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

Borthwick's effort led South Walton over Suwannee and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
