Basketball Game Preview: Custer County Bobcats vs. Crested Butte Titans

The Custer County Bobcats will challenge the Crested Butte Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Custer County played against Lake City Community on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Crested Butte is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 52-12 victory over Antonito. The win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 5-16. As for Custer County, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-13 record.

Custer County barely slipped by Crested Butte when the teams last played on February 8th, winning 40-39. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Crested Butte's Molly Miller, who posted 16 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals.
