Basketball Recap: West Carroll Comes Up Short

West Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 59-17 loss at the hands of the Middleton Tigers. The War Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.

Middleton was led to victory by Harmony Bell and Kenya Polk. Bell went 8 of 10 on her way to 17 points, while Polk posted ten points and three steals. The game was Bell's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kijah Mitchell, who earned four points and three steals.

West Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Middleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

West Carroll will challenge Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Middleton, they will square off against Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
