Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. Sutton fell 2-0 to Raymond Central. Sutton's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Kamryn Steinhauer paced Sutton's offense, picking up eight kills. Steinhauer got some help from Elsa Andersen and her ten assists. Steinhauer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sutton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Raymond Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

Sutton has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Linn on the 20th. As for Raymond Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Fairbury on the 20th.
