It was a good run, but Salinas unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Harbor Pirates. The Cowboys were not able to make up for their defeat to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Salinas started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 28-26, 25-19, 26-24.

Teagan Bell paced Salinas' offense, picking up eight kills. Bell got some help from Ariana Devers and her 24 assists.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Harbor, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salinas will take on Santa Cruz at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harbor, they will square off against Los Gatos at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
