Soccer Recap: Treutlen Comes Up Short

Treutlen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Brantley County Herons, falling 7-2.

Natalie Meeks wasn't going to let Brantley County walk away unscathed as she scored both of Treutlen's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Treutlen's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Brantley County, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Treutlen will challenge Dooly County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dooly County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season. As for Brantley County, they will face off against Worth County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Worth County also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.3 goals per game.
