Volleyball Recap: Emme Allen and Sam Velasquez Secure Win for Harvest Christian

Harvest Christian hadn't done well against Nazarene Christian Academy recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Saints were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The Saints were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Lions, so the Saints were just returning the favor.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Harvest Christian was led to victory by Sam Velasquez and Emme Allen. Velasquez had 56 digs and one assist, while Allen had 11 digs, three aces, and one block. Those 56 digs gave Velasquez a new career-high.

Harvest Christian pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
