Football Game Preview: Jamestown Red & Green vs. Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East Tigers

The Jamestown Red & Green will square off against the Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, Jamestown came up short against Orchard Park and fell 30-19.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East and Clarence, and Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East kept the tradition alive. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Red Devils 46-6. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jamestown better keep an eye on Jimmy Valentine. He was instrumental in Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East's win, rushing for 140 yards and three scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance, Valentine is now averaging an impressive 106.5 rushing yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Dontre Hampton, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Carl Barnes.

Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Jamestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Jamestown beat Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East 28-16 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Will the Red & Green repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
