Volleyball Recap: Topeka Trojans vs. Manhattan Indians
Topeka lost against Manhattan back in October of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Topeka Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Manhattan Indians.
Topeka was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22.
Manhattan was led to victory by Dakotah Garcia and Anistyn Gaskill. Garcia had five digs and four aces, while Gaskill had five digs and 19 assists. Gaskill has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last five times she's played.
