Baseball Game Preview: Rolling Hills Prep Huskies vs. Harbor Teacher Monarchs

The Rolling Hills Prep Huskies will venture away from home to challenge the Harbor Teacher Monarchs at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rolling Hills Prep came up short against Serra on Wednesday, falling 12-3. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matthew Moyer put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 5.2 innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off only two hits. Moyer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Moyer wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jake Levin, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Levin is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stole at least one in each of the last four games he's played dating back to last season. Another was Dylan Reasor, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Harbor Teacher was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 19-1 to Providence.

Rolling Hills Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Harbor Teacher, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Rolling Hills Prep couldn't quite finish off Harbor Teacher in their previous meeting back in April of 2022 and fell 5-3. Can Rolling Hills Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
