Baseball Recap: Hempfield Area Comes Up Short

Hempfield Area was the 7-3 winner over Norwin when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans lost 12-2 to the Knights on Tuesday.

Hempfield Area saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Wilkins, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Hempfield Area now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Norwin, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hempfield Area beat Norwin by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday.
