Football Preview: Bayonne Bees vs. Orange Tornadoes        
        
		
             The Bayonne Bees will host the Orange Tornadoes  on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bayonne has five straight  wins, Orange has four straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 Bayonne is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They blew past Columbia, posting  a  47-7 victory on the road. The Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 20  points or more this season.
  Chance Fischer was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 182 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 145  rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Nico Sampson Jr., who threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bayonne was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 352  rushing yards. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 97.8  rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last three games they've averaged 288.7.
 Meanwhile, Orange ended up a good deal behind Randolph on Friday and lost  28-9. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings  (they are ranked 207th, while the Rams are ranked 99th).
 Bayonne pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Bayonne beat Orange 34-21  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023. Will Bayonne repeat their success,  or does  Orange have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
