Flag Football Game Preview: Fullerton Indians vs. Westminster Lions

The Fullerton Indians will take on the Westminster Lions on Monday. Fullerton's defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so Westminster's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Fullerton is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bellflower just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 19-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, Westminster waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 19-13 W against the Fighting Irish.

Fullerton's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Westminster, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Everything went Fullerton's way against Westminster when the teams last played back in September, as Fullerton made off with a 27-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
