Volleyball Game Preview: Crawford Colts vs. Morse Tigers + How To Watch

Crawford is 1-9 against Morse since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Colts will host the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. Morse took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crawford, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Crawford turned things around against Logan Memorial Education Campus on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Crawford took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-10.

Crawford's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Amal Mohamed, who had 11 assists and four aces, and Nyabhan Puoch, who had three aces. Those four aces gave Mohamed a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Crawford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 27 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Morse fell just short of Imperial by a score of 2-1.

Morse's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Crawford, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-15.

Crawford couldn't quite get it done against Morse when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Colts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
