Volleyball Recap: Battle Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Point, Battle was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Grandview Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Grandview lost, don't look at Rashad Williams. Despite the final result, he had eight digs and three aces.

Battle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-8-1. As for Grandview, they dropped their record down to 7-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

After both having extra time off, Battle and Nixa will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grandview, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln College Prep on the 19th.
