Basketball Recap: Wallace Gets the Win

Timberlake came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Wallace, but Julian Davis wouldn't allow it. The Wallace Miners came out on top against the Timberlake Tigers by a score of 59-52 on Tuesday thanks in part to Davis, who went 9 of 20 on his way to 34 points and eight rebounds. He is becoming a predictor of Wallace's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

The team also got some help courtesy of Emmitt Myles, who posted four points and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high.

The victory got Wallace back to even at 4-4. As for Timberlake, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Wallace will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clark Fork at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Timberlake, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Timberlake Tigers face off against the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
