Warren Township extended their  winning streak to seven games  thanks to a huge performance from  Aaron Stewart. The Blue Devils blew past the Libertyville Wildcats, posting  a  49-21 victory for which the team can thank  Stewart, who rushed for 227 yards and six  scores while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 18th straight game with at least 113  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 Libertyville lost  on Friday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Trevor Wallace, who threw for 232 yards and a pair of  TDs.  Gavin Dickson helped  Wallace out on the ground, rushing for 69 yards and one  touchdown on only six carries.
Warren Township's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Libertyville, they moved to 5-4 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Warren Township will face off against New Trier at 7:00  p.m.  on November 1. As for Libertyville, they will challenge Central on Friday. The Rockets' defense has only allowed 9.7  points per game  this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
