Volleyball Recap: Southside Extends Winning Streak to Three

Southside entered their tilt with Howard on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Southside was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 22-25, 25-5, 25-11.

Madilynn Moore paced Southside's offense, picking up nine kills. Moore got some help from Annalynn Silverthorne and her 16 assists. Moore was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 14 aces.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Howard, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southside will head out to challenge Greene Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howard, they will venture away from home to square off against Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
