Alice scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 32-31 to the Sharyland Rattlers. The Coyotes' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Kevin Alaniz was a one-man wrecking crew For Sharyland. as he rushed for 146 yards and one score on only 13 carries. Those 146 rushing yards gave Alaniz a new career-high. Oscar Cantu was in the mix too, providing Sharyland with two TDs.

Alice's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Sharyland, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-3.
