Soccer Recap: Mica Mountain Has No Trouble Against Prescott

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mica Mountain walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Prescott Badgers with a sharp 5-2 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Thunderbolts needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

They hit Prescott with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julian Ordaz (2), Riley Carson, Grady Coleman, and Blake Allen.

Mica Mountain's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Prescott, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8.

Coming up, Mica Mountain will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Thunderbird at 2:00 p.m. Prescott does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
