Recap: Noxubee County Tigers vs. Neshoba Central Rockets
This season hasn't been kind to the Noxubee County Tigers, who are still winless after their fourth game. They had to suffer through a rough 71-8 loss at the hands of Neshoba Central. Noxubee County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-2.
Neshoba Central was led to victory by Kyli Truss and Erica Lyons. Truss scored 15 points, while Lyons scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was A'tyia Allen, who scored eight points.
Noxubee County's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Neshoba Central, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.
Noxubee County will be home for the holidays to greet Louisville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Louisville is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Neshoba Central is on the road again on Friday and play against Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Columbus will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Neshoba Central is ranked first).
