Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Concordia

Concordia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Bishop Reicher Catholic Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

While Concordia was not able to put a set on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-22, 25-14.

Concordia has now lost 12 of their last 13 games at home. That leaves them at an 0-9 record this season. As for Bishop Reicher Catholic, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Concordia is set to challenge their familiar foe Allen Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishop Reicher Catholic will square off against their in-conference opponent St. Joseph Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
