Football Game Recap: Booker vs. DeSoto County

Booker had a rough outing against Braden River last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Booker walked away with a 19-6 win over DeSoto County.

Booker got off to a slow start in their match last week, but they had no such trouble against DeSoto County as they cruised to a 19-point first half. Meanwhile, DeSoto County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 19-0 heading into the break. Booker were outperformed in the second half 0-6 but had enough points saved up to walk away with the win.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Booker will stay at home next week against Lemon Bay at 7:30 PM. Lemon Bay took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Booker's good fortune. DeSoto County will take on Bayshore at home at 7:30 PM. Bayshore are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
