Volleyball Recap: Lauralton Hall Takes a Loss

Lauralton Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Mercy Tigers. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Lauralton Hall ultimately came up short, they really made Mercy work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 20-25, 26-24, 25-18.

Lauralton Hall's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mercy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Lauralton Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Shelton on the 12th. As for Mercy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against West Haven on the 12th.
