Headland and UMS-Wright Prep are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Rams will take on the Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Headland 3.8, UMS-Wright Prep 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Headland will bounce into Friday's game after beating Providence Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rams came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 7-2 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Meanwhile, UMS-Wright Prep came up short against Mobile Christian on Monday and fell 8-4.

Headland's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.

Headland couldn't quite get it done against UMS-Wright Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2016 as they fell 7-3. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
