Basketball Game Preview: Deer Creek Antlers vs. Southmoore SaberCats

The Deer Creek Antlers are taking a road trip to square off against the Southmoore SaberCats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Deer Creek is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Norman North, who was ranked tenth at the time (Deer Creek was ranked 11th). Deer Creek came up short against Norman North on Friday, falling 52-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Antlers have suffered against the Timberwolves since February 23, 2019.

Meanwhile, Southmoore beat Mustang 65-54 on Friday. The SaberCats have beaten the Broncos the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Broncos has come to flipping the script.

Southmoore's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Deer Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-4.

Deer Creek couldn't quite finish off Southmoore when the teams last played back in January and fell 58-56. Can Deer Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
