Flag Football Game Preview: King Wolves vs. Moreno Valley Vikings

The King Wolves will challenge the Moreno Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (King 14.3, Moreno Valley 14.7) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Monday, King came up short against Roosevelt and fell 24-14. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Moreno Valley beat JW North 25-19 on Monday.

One reason for the win was Moreno Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. JW North's QB won't forget Janelle Zavala anytime soon given she sacked her three times.

Moreno Valley pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.5 points on average over those games. As for King, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
