Volleyball Game Preview: Miami Springs Golden Hawks vs. Westland Hialeah Wildcats

The Miami Springs Golden Hawks will head out on the road to take on the Westland Hialeah Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Miami Springs came up short against iMater Charter on Thursday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Hawks in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Westland Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Hialeah-Miami Lakes.

Westland Hialeah took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

Miami Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Westland Hialeah, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Miami Springs might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Westland Hialeah in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Golden Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
