Vanguard College Prep will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Lodi Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, Stockton Christian came up short against Delta Charter on Tuesday and fell 3-1. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Dragons 25-10 in the first set.
Stockton Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 10-25, 25-21, 25-23, 25-20.
Vanguard College Prep's record now sits at 4-7. As for Stockton Christian, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-6.
