After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grosse Pointe North, Berkley was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Athens Red Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Red Hawks on May 13th, they had to take a 10-0 loss.

Claire Marentis tossed a big game, tossing six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
