Volleyball Recap: Brazos Extends Winning Streak to Four

Brazos waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Ganado Indians as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Brazos' got stronger as the match went on, holding Ganado to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-8, 25-6.

McKenna Stroud paced Brazos' offense, picking up ten kills. Stroud really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Brazos' win bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Ganado, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brazos will venture away from home to take on Weimar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ganado, they will head out to challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
