It was a good run, but LaSalle-Peru unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Limestone Rockets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cavaliers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

LaSalle-Peru's loss came despite strong showings from Aubrey Urbanski and Emma Jereb. Urbanski had six digs and two aces, while Jereb had six assists and four digs.

LaSalle-Peru's defeat dropped their record down to 27-4. As for Limestone, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1.

LaSalle-Peru wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Providence Catholic on the 18th. As for Limestone, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Mahomet-Seymour on the 18th.
