Volleyball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the West Brook Bruins, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Ganders of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-6, 25-14.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for West Brook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lee is set to square off against their familiar foe Beaumont United at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Brook will take on rival Port Arthur Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
