Bellows Falls will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Leland & Gray on Tuesday. Izzy Stoodley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jaelyn Fletcher, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six RBI, three runs, and one triple. Cadence James was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Bellows Falls' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Fair Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Bellows Falls has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Fair Haven struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Bellows Falls' way against Fair Haven in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Bellows Falls made off with a 19-13 win. Will the Terriers repeat their success, or do the Slaters have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
