Softball Recap: West Point Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for West Point's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Lawrence County Red Devils on Tuesday. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

West Point saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lauren Wyndham, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

West Point's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Lawrence County, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 35-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will welcome Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawrence County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Morgan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
