Covenant Christian entered their tilt with Guerin Catholic on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

While Covenant Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.

Isaac Crane paced Covenant Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Crane got some help from Josiah Swearingen and his 14 assists.

Covenant Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for Guerin Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-18.

Covenant Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Indy Genesis HomeSchool on the 8th. As for Guerin Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Lafayette Jefferson on the 8th.
