Baseball Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Granger's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Murray Spartans on Tuesday. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Granger saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Spicer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. Spicer has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Bronson Haydock also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Granger's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Murray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-1.

While Granger had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
