It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Sitka ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past the Valdez Buccaneers with an 85-81 win. The Wolves' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Sitka's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Valdez, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Sitka and North Pole will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Valdez, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lathrop at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
