Football Recap: Beaver Piles Up the Points Against Millard

While Beaver put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Millard. The Beavers took their game with ease, bagging a 41-0 victory over the Eagles. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Beavers just coasted through the last quarter.

Davin Orton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 100 yards and a pair of TDs on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 97 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Beaver was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 276 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 165 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Beaver didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hayzen Albrecht and Dominik Tobey. Tobey is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season.

Beaver's record now sits at 4-1. As for Millard, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beaver will head out to square off against Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers will need to watch out since the Cowboys have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Millard, they are taking a road trip to face off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
