Volleyball Recap: Princeton Eagles vs. Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars
After flying high against Herlong on Tuesday, Princeton came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-19, 25-10.
Reyna Sullivan paced Princeton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sullivan got some help from Guadalupe Espinoza and her 19 assists. Madelynn Winn controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-10.
Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Princeton and Dunsmuir will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Paradise Adventist Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Elk Creek on the 23rd.
